Water softening systems typically use salt in the form of sodium chloride or potassium chloride to regenerate the resin beads that remove hardness minerals like calcium and magnesium from water. The regeneration process involves flushing the resin bed with a brine solution to remove the accumulated minerals.

In our boiler system, industrial salt is required for water softener. 

On average, to produce 1 ton of soft water, approximately 1kg of industrial salt is consumed.
